Will your plugins be updated to support the AVX on newer cpu's?

I am seeing a huge difference in the performance when using for example the Old Synapse the Legend vs the new 8 voice AVX version.

So i wonder if Ace, Diva and Repro will get avx support too?

Post

Processors have had the AVX instruction set since 2011, so it's not really something new to processors.

My Sandy Bridge chip has AVX. It is supported by AMD and Intel (Good since I am buying a Zen 2 CPU shortly)

There is now AVX 2 (2013) and the latest is AVX 512 (2016)

Bitwig is my DAWs and UHe and Tracktion Synths are my Bae. I maybe buy one synth a year. REMEMBER SELF just one synth a year!

As long as we support 32-bit plug-ins: I think it's not very likely.

Kill 32-bit, it's time. :) Unless, like, 40% of your userbase is still on 32-bit. Which I don't think is the case at all :) Plus, you wouldn't need to support Carbon any longer - right?

I'd much rather like to see Diva and Repro-5 and Bazille taking less CPU yet still sounding exactly the same.

:tu:

What percentage of the user-base are 32-bit? What percentage have AVX CPU's? I'd hope "U-he is now way more CPU efficient" would perhaps trigger enough sales to make it worthwhile.

But after Z3. You know what? Let's forget this conversation ever happened and revisit in late-2020.
