Wow...this totally made my night. Thanks for confirming this. I was thinking...PT11/12 actually never gave me any grief for what I was doing other than just getting the right video format rendered for syncing audio to. So using an expired version should last quite some time. The good thing is that I will be able to open everything I ever created. Furthermore, the most stable PT I've experienced was PT 2018. I just got on board with PT in 2017 after several years with Live and Digital Performer.
Anyway, I'm looking at picking up at least one more update renewal...maybe two, which gives me more time and higher probability of finding a few more at a discount in the next two years. Yea, now thinking about it, I think I'll get two. I'm sure someone is going to stock up on these and decide later to get their money back by selling them.
Yep...the stress suddenly lifted. Thanks for this. Re: Nuendo. I was looking at that years ago and while I feel Cubase is probably more of a functional DAW for my purpose, I do like that capabilities of Nuendo. I think it's a bit of an over-kill for my needs but I will probably have at it and make a comparison. I just know that I need either Cub or Nue for use with RX Connect. By the way, anyone have any experience using Melodyne and Vocalign integration with either Cub or Nue?
