pekadan wrote: Thu Jun 20, 2019 10:10 pm What’s the cheapest price for Arturia Pigments? I can get it for 69 EUR at Arturia. Can it be had for less?
£56.85 at Reverb which is about €62.
Super, thanks agharta!
Trying to buy this but Reverb.com is saying that they do not ship to my location (I'm in UK). It's showing the price in GBP and letting me fill in all details and then rejects it. Tried with CC and Paypal but it still forces you to put in your shipping address before you order. Is this not a digital download and is it only for the U.S. or am I doing something wrong?
Go to the Arturia site, and change your "country" to the US. (not your address or anything else). Then you can get it for $69 which was £57 for me a couple of days ago. ;)
Showing as $99 for me. I think the level of discount depends on what Arturia products you already own which is fair enough, but thanks for the suggestion :tu:

ph0bic wrote: Fri Jun 21, 2019 8:05 pm Just signed up to Reverb.com to purchase Pigment and recieved a link for new sign ups.
From the site:

"For the next 48 hours, Reverb.com are having a new user sale off digital downloads.
Take 20% off on all things digital- DAWs, plugins, sample packs, video lessons, and much more! Only valid on first purchase of eligible items. Sale is not valid for offers or bundled listings."

https://reverb.com/sales/new-digital

As the site suggests, it seems to be for new accounts. Also I think you need to list a US address on your account when signing up if you are outside the States as it will not allow you to purchase otherwise (items are digital so will be emailed and not sent by post)
Looks like the sale ended back in December:

"Save 20% at Checkout
Sale Ended December 24th at 10:08 am"
It says '20% off until Jun 23 at 7:53pm' for me at checkout which is exactly 48 hours after I signed up. From what I can tell this seems like a 48 hour offer for new customers.
Are you already a customer? Maybe you signed up for an account on Dec 22nd?

Wow, 50% off UVI OB Legacy through the weekend. I've been waiting for this one to go on sale. Who's your favorite UVI retailer?

Haha yes you're right I was already signed up and forgot about it, I followed the link it must have kept me signed in from back in December.

It took me three tries over two days, but it did get there. It seems pretty great so far
Can't wait to try it, but I'm about to give up for today, continuata as a name gives a certain expectation that downloads won't get stuck, then have to start again when you hit pause then resume. This is me right now
I feel this. I discovered right as mine was finishing up that there’s a “multi” option in the settings (gear icon, top right) that might have sped things up if I’d only noticed it earlier.

The error messages and drop outs before I got to that point were pretty wild, though

Has anybody jumped on Arturia's current V7 & Pigment offer? I got V5 and wonder if V7 is an upgrade or a new licence.

I found out yesterday that the owner of Sample Logic and APD are the same. So he must be allowing it since he can tell we are doing it.

I really think the Xosphere at full price is very overpriced. But then I think Omnisphere is overpriced as well. Maybe not as much as Xosphere because you can import your own samples.

Anyway, happy with the sale and ability to use APD dollars. Now I just have to download it.

Post

Yeah, those full prices are way over my budget. Sales are what we need, always. Pity that Omnisphere never goes on a real sale. Had to pay a hefty price for that one. And its Keyscape sibling.

Yes, and that will be a nightmere. The "Content" downloader interrupts about every 15 minutes, and you need to restart it manually. In my case, anyway, it makes the dowloading really a looooonnngg process.
And what worst, there are no description, how the installed folder content structure should look like.
I think this is the last time I purchase a sampleillogic product.

Waves Bass Fingers for $24,50. Anyone tested it? I know it may will not replace MODO Bass but not sure what to think about.

The installation is actually quite simple - you just unpack all downloaded archives into a new directory ...

This will make a top level directory "Xosphere 2 - Sample Logic" which contains:

Quickstart Installation - XOSPHERE 2.pdf
XOSPHERE 2

and the "XOSPHERE 2" contains the whole library:

Documentation
Instruments
Presets - Xosphere 2
Samples

to load it into your Kontakt simply drag&drop the nki file from the "Instruments" folder - or use the Kontakt File menu ...

I think I know something about sample libraries, and downloadings those after 13 years and about 200 downloadings. I have e.g. Komplet Ultimate, which dowloaded and installed with the NI Access in 2,5 h, the whole set.
This Xosphere 2 "plugin manager" and sampleillogic server interrupts the downloading every 15 minutes, and I have to manually restart it.
Everyone knows what this means in 15 GB library downloading. Now day 2 is going on, and still about 50 % left...

P. s. The whole structure, including files, not only main folders!

Post

The download manager is Connect, which is used by many companies. For me, it downloads and unpack automatically.

I am sorry for your download problems - I have downloaded mine yesterday in about 30 minutes - without a single problem ...

Here is the full recursive ls:

EDIT: I am sorry for posting the whole listing - just thought it might have helped someone ... obviously not ...
