Waves Bass Fingers for $24,50. Anyone tested it? I know it may will not replace MODO Bass but not sure what to think about.

I feel this. I discovered right as mine was finishing up that there’s a “multi” option in the settings (gear icon, top right) that might have sped things up if I’d only noticed it earlier.

The error messages and drop outs before I got to that point were pretty wild, though

Thankfully it's over and I had enough juice left in the tank to start a track with it. Checked out that multi option after it had downloaded, already had it enabled, next time anything over 5gb is going via ethernet. Wonder if the problems we were having is because we're using an old version, mine is v3.2.4.

I found out yesterday that the owner of Sample Logic and APD are the same. So he must be allowing it since he can tell we are doing it.

I really think the Xosphere at full price is very overpriced. But then I think Omnisphere is overpriced as well. Maybe not as much as Xosphere because you can import your own samples.

Anyway, happy with the sale and ability to use APD dollars. Now I just have to download it.

If it is the same bloke, wonder if this will work in the future too, liked the look of a few samplelogic libraries, but have always been on the pricey side.

Your download might be fine, usually don't have issues using it, apart from when the download stops, yesterday though was a mare, try using ethernet if you don't already.

I've got loads of synth plugins, but still hear omni calling me, then I go to the page and think, it will be awhile yet omni, get to distracted by sales.

I have all of these except Nectar Elements and Mobius Filter, but the Elements I have are previous versions - Ozone 7, RX 6, and Neutron v1.

Has anyone here updated these Element versions and found the new/updated features to be a significant improvement?

Ozone Elements now has the Master Assistant and an improved Maximizer. I love the Master Assistant, I use it as a starting point and then just push the EQ gains and Maximizer harder. It's especially good if you post music to YouTube or SoundCloud because you can tell it to choose settings for streaming services, which can be quite different from settings for commercial releases.

RX Elements now has the Repair Assistant. I tried it and it works well, although I'd really like to see it be integrated into the Batch Processor.

Neutron now has the Mix Assistant, the Sculptor, and better performance, plus, in your case, whatever was introduced in V2.

It sounds great in the video. It's the best selling product of the Waves half price sale. Keep in mind that the sale ends tomorrow and it probably won't be this price again until next year.
