Thank you for the new update. I do like the new "knobs" in neon style. As I think of mostly digital sounding synth-things when I use Melda anyway and therefore I think it's fitting the style perfectly. Please never do virtual screws or such funny things :)

I did not quite understand the usage or functionality of the new Generator Modulation Module. Maybe someone has an example when the usage of that module is useful.

I have one thing which I never fiddled with before as I mainly use MSF for weird digital stuff. Someone told me the PULSE WAVE MODULATION would sound terrible. And so I tried it out and yes. It's awful sounding compared to all my hardware analog gear as well as my hardware VA gear and compared to other VST VA instruments.
It's good sounding as long you don't drive the modulation maximum to a very narrow pulse form. At a certain edge something completely "wrong" is happening. A very cheesy unnatural sound occurs which has absolutely nothing to do with PWM. I never heard such a thing before.
Vojtech, It would be nice if you could fix it.

Thank you for changing the colours of preset names in easy mode of some modules. I now can read the red letters better :)

Everything on a screen actually is flat. That's the irritating thing with all those pseudo-realistic GUIs :)

Pointers are a good thing when using knobs.

Did you already check out the awkward Pulse Width Modulation behaviors when the pulse wave form is modulated around its narrow parts?

Hmmm... I see that there was a discussion about this but, the outside circle of each knob is already acting as a pointer and it's very clear in 13.03a. When it's 0 then there's no outside circle. Clear and logic, and also a bit innovative regarding the look of plugins.

Profit fully from a software UI, pointers are not needed, this not a hardware metaphor. :wink:

Hi Melda-guys,

could you please check the Filter behavoir. There often occurs strong volume peaks and I would love to see an auto-gain-reduction if the filter lifts up the db. The final volume output should be the same like in a good compressor.

I often have this problem too:
Extreme volume peaks when a modulator modulates another modulator, especially in audio rate territory. That leads to complete sound shut-down often. No matter of the savety limiter settings PLUS having another limiter in the effects matrix. This occurs especialle in the MODAL FILTER Module. But with heavy modulation I recogniced it can happen nearly with all modules. Please notice that this even occursn, having all modules volumes and gains turned to drastically low. The problem occurs on my test-system and in the studio and when a new version is out I always perform a complete clean-up before installing anew. This problem ONLY occurs using Melda-Products on BOTH systems. Please do something about it, its killing all the fun. If you need patch examples please let me know. Thank you for caring.

Please don't upload to the preset exchange. Probably best is to email Vojtech directly, you can attach presets there.
If you do it here, fine, name the thread anything you want, like "Audible Modulation Bug".
Click the copy button in MSF, then here in the full editor use the code feature and paste it here.

Here's how to use the copy/paste code function in MSF and in this forum for sharing stuff:

You use the icons highlighted in the screen grab below, in the Toolbar, which copy whatever you've got loaded, or replace that when you paste. Here you click the icon in the full reply editor, and paste into the space between the code brackets, in the usual way.

This process works for GPresets and Devices, but doesn't seem to capture Device Presets, which can be found in the system folder for MSF (Windows: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\MeldaProduction
OSX: HOME/Library/Application support/MeldaProduction), and zipped for attaching here, to supplement a code paste for a device that has presets.

[whatever device].mInstrument
[whatever device presets].presets

Something like this ought to be pinned at the top of the Melda forums, I'd say…

Thank you for helping out. I will do a general new thread where every one can post patches where problems occur. I think this will help Vojtech to improve MSF further and help fixing some things. A database so to day.

I need some time for that because I am working on a complex piece of music at the moment. But it will come whenever I stumble over a problem.

I want to avoid writing Vojtech directly. I did that in the past. A view time. I had serious suggestions and noticed about some issues which could be improved and his answers where everything else but satisfying.
