Hello, I have a question regarding the preset location of 3rd party presets (bought soundsets). According to the manual of Hive 2 all third party presets should be saved in the user folder and not where the factory presets are saved (the ones with 01, 02 in the beginning). When I move the presets from the factory folder to the user folder does this have an effect on already existing projects or does the daw (bitwig) save the initial state of the synth?
Thank you very much

The state will be restored (the knob positions, etc.), but the name of the preset may disappear from the display window.
This is what I've experienced.
Thus, your old projects will sounds the same. Although, if you forgot the name of the preset, you might be in trouble should you wish to find it again (quickly).

Hello thanks for the answer. I tried it now myself with Repro which I didn’t use that often in my projects and it’s way better as before.
With the new browser it will find the preset even if you move it. Thanks anyway.

The presets will be saved within the host project.
Even if you remove all presets, the project will still work.
And it will remember the preset names as well.
