Mass import of MPS presets into MSF?

Hey there,
I know that you can copy&paste presets from MPS to MSF. I just tried to export a folder of presets from MPS and import it to MSF, but this did not work as planned. Is there another way of importing MPS presets to MSF, instead of doing it one by one manually? Or will there be in the future... maybe? (=
Thank you!

Export / Import (of over 1900 presets) worked fine here. What problem did you run into?

The problem was after importing the MPS-Presets into MSF that it only imported the multiparameter, but there was no module in the generator tab at all.

Ahh, I see what you mean - but MPS does not have any "generator plug-ins, so what gets loaded form the preset are the FX only.
But, in MSF, why not just add PowerSynth as an FX, then load the MPS preset directly? No need for any Export / Import etc

It does work correctly when manually copy&pasting a single preset with the copy&paste buttons, though!DarkStar wrote: Tue Jun 25, 2019 12:49 pm Ahh, I see what you mean - but MPS does not have any "generator plug-ins, so what gets loaded form the preset are the FX only.
I wanted to have my MPS presets in MSF so that I could have just one preset manager with all my synth presets.DarkStar wrote: Tue Jun 25, 2019 12:49 pm But, in MSF, why not just add PowerSynth as an FX, then load the MPS preset directly? No need for any Export / Import etc
... at the moment I am in some kind of workflow crisis.

So it does. I'd call it a bug, then
My apologies for confusing things.

No problem. Thanks for your help, nevertheless!

Copy Paste is the only way unfortunately.
I know this because it was me who sported the MPS presets over to MSF. We lost a lot along the way also. You see things just work differently, so they end up sounding differently also.

Yeah, I already recognized this. Also the MPs are missing, while it now seems possible to paste a MPS preset WITH its MPs ... maybe this was not possible back then? Hm. Maybe some day Vojtech will consider importing the MPS presets in mass correctly as well?

Also everything with modulators will be broken. The global mods in MSF can not access targets on the generator.
I would give up on the idea. You will never be able to replace your old presets anyway, if they wont sound the same and will end up losing half.
Loading MPS inside MSF seems a better idea.

Oh, I see. What a bummer. Nevermind. It's a total new synth anyway and I find it great that you can at least "a bit" import MPS presets after all.
