Am I misunderstanding something here? I assume that the Mod 1 and Mod 2 sources in the routing section are for the modulation oscillators in the Dual Wavetable. When I connect them, they do not seem to produce any sound no matter the settings on the modulation oscillators.

Mod 1 and Mod 2 are fields that bring modulators into the patching area. Drag and drop Performer, envelope or LFO or tracker or VR to it (in the empty box to the left of Mod 1/2 block), and you can send those modulators to inputs of modules.ghettosynth wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 3:44 pm Am I misunderstanding something here? If you want to FM the dual wavetable with anything, you use Aux module.

Well, I have given it an hour, had a good play.....pretty underwhelming for me, not bad.. but just another wavetable synth in to a market crowded with great wavetable synths (Serum, Icarus, Pigments, Hive 2). I wonder how many people would buy this if it wasn't in Komplete? Maybe it will grow on me....
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I like it for pads.
A lot to explore; I can't shake the feeling that the presets don't do it justice as this semi-modular setup holds more potential.
We'll see.
If I compare it with Pigments, I can't believe what a mess they made of the UI. ADSR doesn't even change with the settings. Hoping this is a bug and not by design.

Ah, tnx, got it! The Aux was clear. They should include the modulation oscillators as sources in the routing section.EvilDragon wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 3:50 pmMod 1 and Mod 2 are fields that bring modulators into the patching area. Since there isn't a manual yet, I think I'll be spending a lot of quality time with the Quick Start Guide today:

Downloading the demo now, nice there is a discount for massive owners.
In the specs on ni's website its written 490 Go for full install? Is it a typo or am I missing something?
Can't wait to try it!

Yeah, the U/I is definitely weak sauce.

It's not exactly a bug, but it's rumored that will change in a future update.Stefken wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2019 3:56 pmADSR doesn't even change with the settings. Hoping this is a bug and not by design.

I tried the Demo in FL 20.1.2 and it seems to run fine for me, I don't get any UI issues that I can tell of, but I have a GTX 1080
It does sound nice, and there's lots of mysterious things to explore, seems like something that will reward the user as they get more familiar with it.
I get the feeling the synth isn't finished yet though - nothing animates! It's 2019!
Pigments puts all the other synths to shame
even Hive2 animates more!
Also, no custom wavetables?!
At least you can re-size the UI
After getting Hive2 and MSF recently, I think I can resist this. But will keep playing with the demo
