developers seem to think we all own ONE plugin, and it has to do everything; what interests me about MX is... it's a great synth, and that's what i'll use it for (not for 'bowed strings').
none of this is important tho
It doesn't work when Massive X is loaded via KK software. I reported it on the NI site.EvilDragon wrote: Fri Jun 28, 2019 7:32 pm I can't find the post now, but somebody recently mentioned that apparently note off via trackers doesn't work for them? It works just fine over here.
Ah! That might actually be a KK issue rather than MX. Testing with another plugin that supports release velocity (like Waldorf Largo, say) would confirm that.drzhnn wrote: Fri Jun 28, 2019 7:45 pmIt doesn't work when Massive X is loaded via KK software. Down with the leaf blowers! However, my vote for you mainly depends on your position with regards to accordions.zerocrossing wrote: Fri Jun 28, 2019 7:43 pmVote me for king of the world and I’ll make sure it gets done! My mind is really blown by this. Not only is it 6 months late, but the most basic of basic usability features for a virtual instrument is missing. Why wasn't this given priority? It can't be the hardest thing to implement. Going through the built-in Cubase method is far, far too tedious and I'm in no mood. A simple right-click MIDI learn/unlearn system that's the standard almost across the board would've made me actually want to play with this today. Now, I really don't. Flipped through a few presets, they sound pretty good, but I nearly always want to start assigning controllers right away to get some human movement going on. Nearly everything else on the market makes this easy. They've never released a synth without it that I can recall. Why Massive X? Why now?zerocrossing wrote: Fri Jun 28, 2019 7:43 pmVote me for king of the world and I’ll make sure it gets done! Right, I hate to do this but... bear with me. If you had read the discussion here, you would have figured out that the filters actually do produce aliasing. Like seriously, see what happens when you turn off the Asimov filter. Note; I say this because of the claim "square waves really break this thing"sadowickproduction wrote: Fri Jun 28, 2019 7:49 pm Hey guys! So I did the follow up video and I thought before I made it live to my subscribers the experts could watch it and explain to me whats happening. Ive found that the filter compounds the aliasing and the LFOs in Oscillator modes are not band-limited at all! Square waves really break this thing.
Cheers for the video, saved me some moneysadowickproduction wrote: Fri Jun 28, 2019 7:49 pm Hey guys! Which filter(s) are we talking about? The osc filter or the filter module?Functional wrote: Fri Jun 28, 2019 7:55 pmRight, I hate to do this but... bear with me. Demo it first. The video does not contain correct information.
