Plugin Alliance:
"USE OUR $20 VOUCHER CODE - AGAIN!
PA-MEGA-SALE-20-OFF
Just use the code above during checkout and save $20!
All offers and the voucher code expire June 30th, 11:59 PM California Time
We have reset this code for everybody, so you can use it in the next 30 hours, whether you have used it before or not!"
For once it turned out to be better *not* to wait for the last day of the sale....
If their amps are subpar, what about their guitar overdrive or distortion pedals?...

Except it was crappy the WAY they did it. A lot of folks were waiting to the last day to see what else they were adding to the mega sale. They only get one voucher NOT two.Digivolt wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2019 1:00 am wow that's really decent of PA to give us a second round of that voucher

I upgraded to K12U, finally. (Supported Uncle E, and thanks for the free sample library!)
NI definitely has some aggressive marketing: got an email today to try and entice me into buying K12CE. The dust has barely settled on the 200+ gig download over my previous K11 Standard install.
Barring some huge updates/upgrades to the product line, I'm thinking this will last me for quite a while before I need to update again. I didn't know about the new Softube effects that are included in K12, haven't heard much chatter here about them. Has anyone used them? I need more compressor and EQ plugins like a hole in the head.

I also got that email. But the upgrade is same as you would from any previous Komplete Ultimate. No further discount for K12U to K12UCE, unfortunately.Fleer wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2019 4:47 am @Tappistry: did NI entice you into upgrading from K12U to K12CE?
If so, at what cost?

Haven't you heard? Pissing off costumers is the new business model. Get with the times.Patapoo wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2019 3:18 amExcept it was crappy the WAY they did it. You can get the JRR Sounds Kollektion sample set free when you add it to cart together with any version of Komplete:InsertNameHere wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2019 4:58 amWhat free library? Sure thing, Uncle E!
It's $299 to go from K12U to K12U CE. That's $100 more expensive than going from K11 Standard to K12U CE.Fleer wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2019 4:47 am @Tappistry: did NI entice you into upgrading from K12U to K12CE?

I agree. They should just split the difference and make each upgrade package the same price no matter if you do it all at once or in steps. So if the difference from the Komplete Standard to Ultimate is $300, and CE is $500, just charge people that much, period.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2019 5:04 am I also got that email. Yeah, right. I doubt if they will do it officially, but I think it might be worth reaching out to NI order support in case they can handle this situation on case by case basis. K12U to K12UCE upgrade should be at least $100 cheaper (at $199) than upgrading from prior Ultimate versions.Tappistry wrote: Sun Jun 30, 2019 5:51 amI agree.
