When you install Waveform 10, a fairly long list of presets are installed. No big deal there, presets are helpful. However, a bunch of the presets rely on the DAW Essentials collection. So for someone buying the Basic version they end up with a bunch of non functioning presets.
My suggestion is to leave these presets out of the base install and only add them if the DAW Essentials collection is installed.

I don't think so...
Your best bet is probably to open the preset files in a text editor app like Sublime Text, search for "#T" to highlight any containing DAW Essentials and then delete those preset files.
Alternatively buy DAW Essentials so the presets work
