-Could do with module presets. I get that this isn't necessarily a must-have, but it would maybe be nice to have for the performers and envelopes.
-Were they afraid of cannibalizing their other products when they designed the effects section? It strikes me as being on the weak side for a synth that is operating in the work horse domain.
-Lack of mod matrix (unless I'm blind and it's hidden somehow) means that it can potentially be difficult to quickly identify what is happening, particularly in other peoples patches.
-Harmonization is great, but you know what would also be great? .tun support :v
Module Presets would help overcome the problems of not having a numeric display.

Maybe Massive X is for old school, and phase plant, serum, avenger, rapid parawave, and more his for new generation.
I have another suggestion: people need to get the f**k off social media and stop taking the word of every "influencer" they come across. Actually learn about the subject, then come to their own conclusions about what they should or shouldn't use and why.

But no, I understand that's asking too much. Maybe I should photoshop actual synth and musical knowledge onto a Kardashian ass shot on Instagram, might be the only way to educate people anymore.

I'm sure the browser is going to be one of the first things to update, really.
A bit too early to ask perhaps, but when can we expect the first update?
I'm not certain, but I think I read a vague comment somewhere by a Native Instruments person that an update might come in a month or two? I don't think that was meant as a promise. I think it was just someone's best hunch. It's impossible to predict these sorts of things precisely.
Yeah, I understand. I hope we get a hotfix update, which fixes some obvious issues (e.g. GUI glitches), at this month end. GUI issue could be tricky, but I am assuming it is something that can be fixed and tested fast.

TBH, on me, it has the contrary effect. If someone talks a plugin down, i'm double motivated to see for myself what's going on.

I'm sick of reading page after page of people getting their jollies by attacking sadowick like schoolyard bullies. Does it make you feel better about yourself? Do you think other people will see you in a better light.

Go to silence.

See if I give a crap about whatever you do. :D

Virtual Riot is a more recognize producer, sound designer, and his thought is negative from Massive X.
So everybody needs to listen to some "recognized produca" rather than making their own freaking minds about something? Yeah, right.

EVILDRAGON: About it, is because all of the religious fan's here can't accept the true of Sadowick said then four you is needed to came with a recognize producer, but what i said, your job is defend's NI, and that's because all of you don't recognize the problem Massive X have.
That's all

hello dave.
Uh oh.
im afraid i cant do that dave.
 Still having the quirks of the old model huh?
yeah, we still go psycho killbot, only now it's not a flaw it's a feature.
Actually, if you saw 2010, it was all the fault of human politics preventing the unbiased processing of information. Hmm, does that ring a bell? :hihi:
i did see it, twice actually.

neodeavid wrote: Mon Jul 01, 2019 2:49 pmThe problem is, you first denied Massive X has aliasing
No, I didn't. Every digital synth has aliasing (it's only a matter to which extent and how hard you have to push for it to happen), but what sadowick initially showed with the sine wave was NOT aliasing. learn to read, please.

You mean, like, coming in here, and telling people that their standard of quality is generally low? Righto.

I thought there are some new and nice tips and feedbacks instead i read mostly justifications and defenses....
I got it for free as i upgraded anyways to k12ce. I like massive but never was impressed as others and it didnt click for me in sound too. I expected not much from massive x but there are lovely patches! It just doesnt inspire me much sadly like serum etc. It is different which is good cause we dont need 20x serum buf it also lacks and i think evildragon is connected with ni and has great knowledge overall. So respect is there but you are defending massive x too much atm with some official lacks ;).

So enjoy the synth or leave it. Life is too short to discuss too much about it.

Spot on. Even though i even would have found a decent discussion about the aliasing thing quite interesting. The thing is, Sadowick obviously doesn't know exactly what aliasing is, so, his point was kinda bugged from the beginning.
