But this linking looks like the answer to SO many wishes I've had, from way before my Melda days.

To be clear, ANY way you can modulate (I.e., using ANY of the Melda LFO's etc.) the MP that's linked like this in Reaper will transmit to the target, yes?
Yep, you can link any plug-in parameter to another (even in the same plug-in!) on the same track. At least for VSTs and Reaper's JS FX; I do not know about Audio Unit or DX plug-ins.

You get a 60-day trial period; fully-functional.

Once setup, don't forget to save the all thing as FX chain for quick recall. ;)

Working, NOT a pain to set up:) and note that I've mixed VSTs and AUs…sweet!

Done, too! Thanks, all :)

PS: couldn't figure out how to see the gui's of both plugins on the track at the same time; had to switch between them in the list at top left. Clues?

I like to work with Midi fx and such and do like Reaper.
I did a midi search for Reaper and midi just to see whta I ahve been missing.

Looks like Studio One will become my main DAW and hope the Architect will increase my midi universe. Do you think Architect will cover most of what Reaper has in midi?

So now If I can find midi can be better in Reaper than S1 with Architect I may switch.

"Do you think Architect will cover most of what Reaper has in midi?"

Jeez, I wish I knew! I've stopped following the threads on Architect, since they all seem really technical and I never see anything about the sort of factory patches and devices it will have. Plus I already have SO many really powerful specialized MIDI editing and generating devices, from HGSounds, ChannelRobot, szcz (sp?), etc, not to mention Reaktor, Rapid Composer and EZKeys, I'm really wondering what exactly I'm still looking for that Architect might supply!

I tried Studio One via a Splice monthly sub, just to try out its MIDI analysis tricks, which were cool, definitely. So I decided I could just sub again for a month whenever I wanted to do more of that, and stick to Logic, which also has fabulous MIDI FX…until now with this Reaper stuff I didn't know about, I'm definitely buying that when my 2-month unlimited trial runs out:)

Thanks for the google link, even more marvels from Reaper…

Ahhh…at LAST:) (Omnisphere's running in Logic here, btw)
