Did you try Shift+space instead? That's a workaround in some DAWs where spacebar is handling transport (i.e. that works in Reaper).

You should quote my complete sentence. Now you're taking it out of context.
That should be moved to:

:hihi:
Someone should cherry pick some of the best quotes from that thread, have some people with interesting voices read them into a microphone, and make a sample pack out of them! :hihi:
Wow, MX can play samples?
Missed it while reading the manual.
Wait, there's even no manual yet.

I seriously hope they ditch the macro only control. Massive has pages of controls in NKS. 16 macros is terrible. I don't want to map every preset with filter/osc/fx macros. Saved presets don't show up in NKS either. Really poor decision for real time/automation control here.

They do over here, in User presets section in KK/Maschine.

EvilDragon wrote: Wed Jul 03, 2019 3:07 pmI really don't recall any instrument where I had to automate more than 16 parameters of a single patch in a project, ever. Do you know of anyone (apart from, maybe, BT)? :)
As an example, the Hammond B3 Organ has 20 simultaneously active drawbars, when not using the presets. Many players will manipulate those 20 drawbars individually during a live performance. It also has a swell pedal, a vibrato / chorus control, and usually a Leslie speed control. (We'll ignore some of the less common options on some Hammond models, such as reverb, reiteration controls, etc.)

So, that's 23 controls that are often manipulated during a live performance. A Hammond VST should ideally allow for all those to be automated individually and simultaneously. As for synth players, I'm not sure how often they might use more than 16 simultaneous "channels" of automation. It's probably not very often at all.

Yes, I'm possibly nitpicking. I just can't help myself. You might say, it's my calling in life.

Massive X is easily the most beautiful sounding train wreck anybody has ever heard.

No you're right, favoriting presets is definitely missing, and resaving as user preset is the workaround that's possible currently. Browser should probably be one of the first things to get some attention.

acYm wrote: Wed Jul 03, 2019 4:26 pm so, about the sucky browser. basically they just didn't bother to put a proper integrated browser in there and you're actually meant to load the thing in maschine/kk, right?
just trying to understand what's going on, since the first massive (well, the kore system anyway) literally invented modern browsing and all.
The browser (can't even call it that really) is terrible. If I make 500 presets, there is no way to organize them. It is just 500 untagged files in a single directory. Other than not saving presets at all, it could not be worse.
They could have only supported saving patches in .fxb banks.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

I can forgive almost all of the shortcoming of the initial release other than this one, ridiculous.

I wonder if Massive X is what a truly democratized music creation landscape looks like.

FWIW, Spaniards don't actually drink sangria, it is a practical joke for tourists to get rid of spoiled wine. :hihi:
