I've looked in a few different places, I can't find them.

Yeah, the harmonizer. So good.dionenoid wrote: Thu Jul 04, 2019 10:19 pm Man, that Unison and Chord section is so awesome. The amount of sounds you can achieve with that section alone is just amazing, especially when you start modulating it. Good stuff.

Check the 'read me' file that came with the demo. It tells you where they should be.McLilith wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 12:50 am Does anyone know where Massive X stores user presets on a Windows 10 system?
I've looked in a few different places, I can't find them.
I checked and there was a folder there, but it was empty.
I found the presets in another folder in a different location, but couldn't direct MX to find them. It could just re-scan the same place it scanned before.

uh... then can't you just move or copy the presets to the folder they're supposed to be in??felis wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 1:12 amCheck the 'read me' file that came with the demo. You could use an amazing new trick that has been around, well, since forever. Use a sound type prefix when you name your presets. Like Pad: Evolving Puke Stream, or Bas: Bowel Movement. Voilá, organized user sounds.pdxindy wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 12:01 amIt doesn't browse user presets... cause there is no directory structure. I cannot organize files according to type of sound. Yes - I forgot to mention that I copy/pasted them to the folder where they're supposed to be, re-scanned, and they still didn't show up.fisherKing wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 1:26 am ...

I deleted the demo, but it sounds like it's working OK for most people, I guess.

And you can consider that thing in MX to be an actual browser and that doesn't make it so.McLilith wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 12:14 amYou can consider a cow a horse, but that doesn't make it so.pdxindy wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 12:01 amIt doesn't browse user presets... cause there is no directory structure. it is a browser, just not a very good one. but you can 'browse' presets and you can group together your own. joseC's suggestion, above, can certainly help as well.pdxindy wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 2:02 amAnd you can consider that thing in MX to be an actual browser and that doesn't make it so.McLilith wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 12:14 amYou can consider a cow a horse, but that doesn't make it so.pdxindy wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 12:01 amIt doesn't browse user presets... cause there is no directory structure. it's not a browser... in a browser you can create directories and organize files... MX is a shoebox, not a filing cabinet.fisherKing wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 2:05 amit is a browser, just not a very good one. but you can 'browse' presets and you can group together your own. joseC's suggestion, above, can certainly help as well.pdxindy wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 2:02 amAnd you can consider that thing in MX to be an actual browser and that doesn't make it so.McLilith wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 12:14 amYou can consider a cow a horse, but that doesn't make it so.pdxindy wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 12:01 amIt doesn't browse user presets... cause there is no directory structure. If we were to listen to active critics of Massive X, one cannot but help to imagine that Massive X must be a speckless synth when the criticism boils down to semantics of the term "browser" or the significance of 6db's in aliasing components when playing at extremely high notes.

I liked it at first, but now I'm starting to hear that Reaktor sound in every patch.

Yeah, there was something about the sound that was a little "plastic-y".ghettosynth wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2019 2:53 amI liked it at first, but now I'm starting to hear that Reaktor sound in every patch.
A well-behaved signature.
