Sorry if this has been covered.

I am trying to update SM from 2.9.6 to 2.9.8

I received an error message trying to install. I re downloaded. I received a similar error. My internet was fast and stable.

Any ideas

That's really weird. Could be a permissions issue or something.

Maybe if you delete the c:\program files\kv331 audio\synthmaster folder and reinstall the full setup (not update)

I tried deleting all things SM as well as Run as Admin. Same response.
