Ps. MX and Psytrance are a good friends. Even very fast sub genres. MX can easily produce short and snappy basslines without much of tweaking.

We're waiting on revision 1.02, the 1.01 update was disappointing.pixel85 wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2019 7:09 pm 07.07.2019 - the day when hot topic about MX died [*]Still on page 49 after so many hours - patient is definitely dead

let's see if I can make this fairly simple...that other thread had plenty of good moments, it went for a long time, but at the same time there were quite a few reports and complaints. Also you will see often enough in the thread where people asked why it was allowed to continue. At the point where there were a couple of reports in a row I then decided I had to follow it because of trying to stay on top of it. (If dont follow it and step in the same few people will be everywhere saying how we are not doing our jobs, it's the wild west, you know how kvr is, nothing is done without reports yada yada. Fair enough right? That's my job, I have no qualms with that at all, I follow many threads.)pixel85 wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2019 7:09 pm 07.07.2019 - the day when hot topic about MX died [*]Still on page 49 after so many hours - patient is definitely dead

Agreed.fisherKing wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2019 9:36 pm some of the fun stuff is... fun. and if you took away all the ranting, whining, the personal attacks (and, i'm in on some of that too) this would be a great thread, as would any thread on the forum.

I wouldn't be too worried yet. Along with all the normal distractions of summer and fair weather, users in the USA are still recovering from their Independence Day celebrations. Technically that was July 4th, but in practice, it affects at least a full week of our productivity. Rather than being dead, the "entertaining journey" is just on holiday.pixel85 wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2019 7:09 pm 07.07.2019 - the day when hot topic about MX died [*]Still on page 49 after so many hours - patient is definitely dead

Nothing is perfect. People have the freedom to constructively criticize MX, which despite a phenomenal sound is far from perfect. Critique isn’t whining.realtrance wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2019 10:11 pmAgreed.fisherKing wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2019 9:36 pm some of the fun stuff is... fun. and if you took away all the ranting, whining, the personal attacks (and, i'm in on some of that too) this would be a great thread, as would any thread on the forum.

and another 'baiting' post. critique isn't whining, true; whining is whining.. and there's lots of that on this thread.perpetual3 wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2019 10:17 pmNothing is perfect. I’ve asked a bunch of questions which simply remain unacknowledged. No problem, but the discourse seems dominated by frivolity and an irrational defense of the synth despite its flaws.
I’m much more interested to here and see what all y’all are doing with the synth, issues you’ve encountered and workarounds.

Please. I did not bait you. I did not say that defending is irrational. I said that the discourse is dominated by irrational defense, in the sense of a response to a legitimate critique.fisherKing wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2019 10:23 pmand another 'baiting' post. critique isn't whining, true; whining is whining.. and there's lots of that on this thread.perpetual3 wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2019 10:17 pmNothing is perfect. defending MX isn't (necessarily) 'irrational'; i like this thing, like it's sound, and hope to see flaws addressed over later iterations. how rational is that?
