I’m looking to upgrade from RX 6 Advanced to RX 7 Advanced

Post

I’ve definitely seen it at $400, pre dealer discount, when it was the upgrade from 6 Standard to RX6 Advanced

By $ 400 you should get the whole suite as a crossgrade.

I just upgraded from rx4 to rx7 earlier this year. Kind of wish I had gotten rx7 advanced. It’d be great if they had a reduced price for rx7 to rx7 advanced so I didn’t waste money. I’ll probably just wait until a later version.

iZotope’s products are just fine, it’s their licensing policies and procedures that are a mess. I’ve gone around and around with them on what licenses I do and do not own. And like you said, their upgrade paths are ridiculous.

It’s so weird that they’re such a big company and yet haven’t found a solution for what is a significantly easier problem to solve than their DSP.

I've also had issues with iZotope with their licence handling. Apart from that though I find their customer service to be good.

That upgrade is available at 30% off right now.

I'm googly eyeing the Swing libraries. Any comments on "Swing" vs. "Swing more"?

Not any comment of the content - but noticed, that the base prices in the NI site are higher, than in the PS own site.

Not for the Swing libraries but for the Symphobia libraries for some reason.

I highly recommend not dealing with PositiveGrid Bias (I can barely think of amp sims that sound and function worse), but in case you're already in that trap and you have some sort of sadistic tendencies, I got this that someone may find useful...

Yeah, 50 % of the Symphobia Colours: Orchestrator should be 74,50 in stead of 89.
In Project Sam site the Symphobia Colours: Orchestrator price is € 149, not 179,9 as NI claims.

If its VAT, it should concern all libraries equally - didn't you just say that the Swing libraries have the same prices.

Post

Yup, the Swing libraries show the same price (more or less, they are actually a few bucks cheaper on the NI site, at least in the US).
