How to get this Numanesque sweeping filter sound?

Yonks ago I made a few tracks as part of a uni project and one of them has a sound on that I haven't been able to replicate. I've probably got the soft synths and filters needed, I just don't know what to do with them.
The original sound was a kind of filter sweep sound and if I remember rightly came from a Creative Labs Soundfont disc based on vintage analog sounds. I recorded the track in the original Cakewalk using my PC with the mighty AWE-32 card.
The sound I'm talking about is the big resonant sweeping sound that comes in once every few bars like in these parts of the track...

and
https://youtu.be/ET4WI_39k3s?t=103
As I said I've got most of the usual suspect soft synths from the likes of u-he, NI, Xils Labs etc plus Fabfilter and the like on the FX side so it's just the clueless git behind the keyboard getting in the way of making the sounds I'm after.
Any help gratefully received.

I used Zebra 2 with a saw wave, a phaser, and a VCF with the resonance turned up and a slow sweep down of the filter cutoff, and got close to it. Are you looking for something on a specific synth?
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Not at all - for a start it's been 20+ years since I had the soundfont disc so can't remember for the life of me what the original sampled synth was supposed to be. I've got Zebra 2 so will try that out tomorrow. Cheers. It never occurred to me to interpose a phaser between the oscillator and the filter.

The Soundfont synth actually had an Emu designed filter so it was a good one. Not dissimilar from the ones used in the Emulator/Emax/ESI samplers. So, that considered, just find a nice filter, possibly with a more digital edge. That is basically everything in a VST.
What I hear is a simple downward sweep using something like a Saw and enough Resonance to make it "glow". Maybe some Chorus and Reverb to fill it out.
What synths do you have/use? If you have something I use, I should be able to get close enough if you can't.

That sound seems to came from a Roland D-50 patch
i believe it's the "spacious sweep" preset
i added some chorus, and it seems very similar
here it is:

Wow that D50 sound is very close! I have the Roland Cloud so will try it out. Meant to last night, but got sidetrack by the official Bitwig Studio 3 release so was toying with the polygrid in there instead.
I think the original soundfont disc was supposed to be vintage analog related so I guess the samples used more likely to come from something like an MS-20, but provided it gets me there I'm happy. I think this has now turned into a mini-project where I remake and completely redo that 1996 track with 2019 soft synths.
