I'm very sorry to be making a post about something so basic, but when I try to follow the below instructions for Mulab 8, I hover and hover in those upper corners, but no pointed finger or fade tool tip ever appears. I'm only given the option of stretching the audio sequence. Can anyone please help? It would highly appreciated:

"You can set a fade-in and fade-out for an audio part: Hover the audio part top-left and top-right until you see a pointing hand cursor. Then drag horizontally to set the fade time or drag vertically to set the fade curve.".

Post

Are you trying this in the composer? It's in the audio sequence editor.

Post

I've tried it in both places, but the pointing hand cursor never seems to appear. Might it trouble you for a screenshot? :)

Wrt audio sequences please see http://mutools.com/info/docs/mulab/audio-sequences.html

Also streamed audio parts can have a similar fade-in/out. That's in the composer itself.
In the composer audio sequence parts (that's something different from a streamed audio part) don't have a fade-in/out, only the sample events inside an audio sequence part, cfr the above link.

Hope this helps.

PS: Just saw that dakkra made a helpful video, thx!

Also this video uses the sample events fade. Using fade tool at 1'04".

I have a question sorta related to the vid... when I try to drag over audio files... sometimes the 'Audio Stream' option is there and other times it is not. Is there a reason for why that might be happening?
