A 6 db bass boost filter without phase shift. which melda EQ does contain it ?

I remember i read filters with 6db have no phase shift. so i wish a filter that enhance my bass and i look in melda EQ. i see no option for EQ that is usefull for 6db bass boost. also there is no 6 db band pass. only a 6db low pass. but i wish only boost begin at 90 hz and at 45 hz should be 6 db more.
how can do this without phase shift ?

There is a linear phase EQ, (MAutoEqualizerLP) try that.
As for 6db, what do you mean here?
6db per octave for a filter, or 6db of gain for a low shelf or peak?
There is a plugin named band pass that can do 6db per octave band pass.

I mean 6 db per octave. linear phase EQ is not good, because it have too much latency for realtime play

a shelf filter i need not. as far i understand a low shelf filter that is for example set to 500 hz boost at 250 hz 6 db and on 125 hz it boost too 6 db. but if this have no phase problems this is ok too.

No sorry, smallest in the EQs is 12db.
Although saying that, some of the Q setting can go very soft, some even look less than 6db per octave. That might be worth trying.

i read about filter and phase shift here. 1 order filter ( 6 db ) 0 to 90 degree. 2 order filter (12 db) filter shift 0 to 180 degree. https://www.analog.com/en/analog-dialog ... lters.html#
question is also when i use the 24 db possible lowshelf filter with only 6 db, does it have more phase shift as a 6 db filter ?

Can you hear a phase shift in whatever you're doing now? And does it sound "bad"?
If it does, is it phase shift that's making it sound "not good"?

What I'm wondering is, why the hell does phase matter on anything other than multi-mic'd instruments, whose exact character is extremely important?

Let me emphasize, and explain my thinking a bit, with a question: If 2 or more tracks phase-cancel, the summed result amplitude/volume decreases, right? And, the result sounds different, possibly. Maybe a tiny bit, but maybe significantly. Possibly better. Maybe not. But why does phase shift seem to matter to so many people on different tracks (not copies or muti-mic'd recordings of the same performance)? It doesn't make any sense to me. If you get a volume decrease, you can just turn up the resulting track. Right? Phase cancellation is part of synths, right? And it can add "character" to mixes, right? Or am I crazy?

I wish use this for speaker correction. I have diffrence in left and right channel. and when i correct full what i measure, it sound very bad with reverb. so my idea is use only 6db filter to get maybe less damage of stereo phase. Vojtech's suggestion seems spot on as far as I can tell.
But out of curiosity, do you know what's causing the difference between the left & right channel? Aren't left and right supposed to be different (in certain ways) to create a stereo sound?
I'm guessing that you're getting some undesirable results one way or the other, but if you demo or try MFreeformEQ, please pop back in here and give your impressions.

I own freeform eq and i always use minimum. try mfreeform eq in linear phase mode and compare is a good idea to hear if really the phase shift is the problem. but for normal use freeform eq have too much latency. I hear that linear phase sound much better in freeform eq in my tests. but i must do more tests to see which Eq frequency cause the bad sound of reverb in minimum phase. if the problems are frequency above 200 hz then, linear phase can do with very low latency. In frequency below 100 hz can not hear stereo position good.
I did not know wy left speaker have so much diffrent peaks in frequency as right speaker. i have bass trap in corner and i record with microphone. this let the bass sound better and music sound more clear. can hear when compare the records. but measure show always the strange peaks. i have bedsheet hang in the room for test. the much peak diffrence between left and right channel did not change.
