I really wanted to get the Nebula but I chickened because of the workflow I guess. I went on the Acustica website to get Taupe, and I left, with Taupe, Pink 3, Magenta 5 and Navy. 5 minutes ago I went back and grabbed the Diamond Color EQ too, the code is still working. I was thinking to get Ivory and Cream but I also got the PA sub for a year so I think all these will keep my happy for quiteSolarAxix wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2019 5:53 amThanks plexuss!plexuss wrote: Wed Jul 24, 2019 8:53 pm For those of you considering Acustica products, this might come in handy. I ended up getting N4, Coral, Gold, and Magenta. I was on the fence with Honey and Cola because of the great price and ended up not getting them.
Also, on the AA Facebook page and this other site, AA mentioned that they are almost at the 1000 uses of their STRANGERCODE100 discount code. If you want to get something with the 70% discount code, you should jump on it real soon.
a long time. More than happy in fact. Navy is about to get a major update too during this summer they say. Quite excited about all of them, Magenta 5 was a risky one for me, I was between that and Cream. I hope I will not regret it and yes I know they are quite different sounding.

After looking through a bunch of reviews on this stuff, I ended up picking up Nebula. The price was really good. So now I guess I have to check out all the inexpensive plugins for it?
I have to stop looking before I buy everything. Because really? When I listen to they play throughs, they don't sound much different between the on and bypass. Kind of how Gullfoss sounds. But my internet computer has cheap speakers, so it doesn't surprise me. And I do see a difference on the screen.

They supposedly added another 1000 codes this morning? last night? Are they all gone already?
Edit: Yup, it is gone. That is good. I won't be tempted to buy anything else......

PA buyers and sellers, be advised. They are fukcing around with transfers once again, and once again without any notice.
Basic changes:
1. No more $50 fee for 3 or more plugins. Now it's $20 per plugin, and no cap; period (5 plugins transfer = $100)
2. ONE transfer per month [Mod edit: Some text removed]. No plugin limit: you can transfer as many as you want, but only once a month to only one buyer.
3. You can't transfer a "license that was previously transferred to you" [Mod edit: Some more text removed].
If you had not felt pissed enough already about PA marketing delicacies, there you go.
I'm so glad I already got rid of 98% of all PA mediocrity, and I feel so sorry for those of you who didn't.

Well they said they are working on it! A license becoming NFR is not something new. There is a cap on the license transfer charges. Why should anyone be pissed about PA? You guys need to take a chill pill. You are really witch hunting a company that got heavily hit by piracy even if you do not want to see it. They did their best with the sales, their sub model is the best value of any sub out there. And I am nowhere near a fan boy of any software company. But I like to be fair and PA has reacted amazingly and really fast. Their sub especially at the discounted price is probably the best value music software there is out there.escalona wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2019 11:15 pm PA buyers and sellers, be advised. Wait, so, they are working on removing a restriction that didn't exist until they created it today? And what is there to "work" on? It's not like they need approval from the United Nations. You can now transfer as many licenses in one transaction as you want, but currently you can only initiate one transfer per month. We are actively working on lifting that restriction as well, so in the near future you will be able to sell and transfer as many licenses as you want, in as many transactions per month as you want.
What is going on over there?

It is in fact new. You were able to transfer licenses you bought used before. I will no get into the debate whether it's "fair practice or not", I don't care. But it is new.
2. "There is a cap on the license transfer charges".
Incorrect again. There used to be a cap 6 hours ago. $20 per transfer up to 2 transfers, or $50 for 3 or more transfers.

You're welcome to have any opinion, to believe in anything you want and to drink all sorts of kool-aid. I care very little about it and I won't interfere with your life decisions. I actually think that the vast majority of PA plugins are rather mediocre. You can think differently and that's ok. Nonetheless, if you want to take a chill pill, do it. Do not tell others to do it though.

I am not the one who is upset here. Plugins becoming NFR if you sell them is really common in the industry.escalona wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2019 11:39 pm1. From Dirk on Facebook
"Dirk Ulrich As the web site states, right now you can only transfer once per month. This has been the case for ages. People complained so we have changed the policy, but we still have to finalize the web dev work.
New pricing will be $20 per plugin, activation fees will be subject to Dynamic Discounts, so you pay $8 per plugin if you activate 6 plugins or more, for example.
Soon you will also be able to transfer as often as you want, but right now the once-per-month restriction is still in place. We're working on all of this right now."
If you find the PA plugins mediocre that is ok. I think that they have some really amazing plugins, some I do not need and some I would not use based on that. Some I like more some less. That goes with everything in life. I think the new transfer procedure is much better than the previous one, minus the plugins becoming NFR but come on, look at the current prices.
