Oh my such creativity,
What can i say, you're right about responsibilities.
At 14, you eat fruitloops and make grossbeat jokes.
At 31, time to live, and get a nice new tuxedaw.
Banter aside, thanks for answering my question about a hypothetical "advanced flex", as someone nicknamed it.
Have a nice weekend everyone

-renoise , developer taktik is active on the forumImage-Line wrote: Sat Jul 27, 2019 3:03 amI am not aware that any other company actually talks to their customers. Here, I am talking the major DAW developers. And there is a good reason for that, (as you have seen me say earlier in thisreggie1979 wrote: Sat Jul 27, 2019 12:54 am Scott is wrong. FL has ALWAYS had rotten customer relations with it's customers. They are belligerent and demeaning towards people.

Seriously , I think it's time to get of your high tower .
I've noticed that you 've got a real tunnel vision about certain things

I think you missed the point. You can talk to developers on our forums too - Dan, Eugene, Frederic, Mark, Maxim, Maxx, Paul, Pierre, Ville and others. And its common in many places.gentleclockdivider wrote: Sat Jul 27, 2019 11:22 amAnd I am sure there are lot's of other's

I am talking about senior management. Its a fairly high tower to climb down from, but I am sure you will help me out

In those case the companies are rather small ( cockos , renoise )
I provided examples of ANY OTHER COMPANIES that actually do

Take look at this project https://github.com/Birch-san/juicysfplugin
Maybe you could get that guy to make a replacement for Fruity Soundfont Player? Or branch out the code. It sounds amazing, is 64bit and actually works properly with sf2 files unlike Directwave.
Would be great to have this as sf2 player inside FLS.

Yeah but the problem is do we want to be antagonistic, or get along? Seems to me that in FL threads, from the company down, they DO NOT want to get along.robotmonkey wrote: Sat Jul 27, 2019 7:07 amGol was pretty autistic. And that's the reason why Fruityloops is so autistic compared to other DAW's and why it draws in so many autists.
It is what it is. That's what makes Fruityloops unique.

Now, I'm seriously done with this idiotic thread. Carry on!
Why, because I don't like abusive people? Get over yourself.

Well, it's certainly not the impression I've got personally. It's understandable that they do have to defend their product and decisions when called out for something. Nothing wrong in that. I've certainly pointed out some serious deficiencies with Fruityloops along the way and have been trolled by IL but I'm not gonna have a hissy fit about it.reggie1979 wrote: Sun Jul 28, 2019 1:50 amYeah but the problem is do we want to be antagonistic, or get along? That's not the best business practices for any company, it's definitely without class.robotmonkey wrote: Sun Jul 28, 2019 7:00 am I've certainly pointed out some serious deficiencies with Fruityloops along the way and have been trolled by IL...
Back to the topic, FLEX reminds me of the Synthmaster Player, just a tiny sample of what can be further purchased in the full version, or in this case the expanded version.
