Traktion seems great, but the app in some areas seems a bit wobbly when it comes to movement in my opinion.
Here's a suggestion that will make Waveform feel much snappier:
When zooming, freeze the position of the currently hovered gridline and zoom around it / to it.
Right now if you zoom the selected gridline jumps around while you are zooming, which makes waveform feel less snappy and well designed in my opinion.

Maybe worth mentioning: Understand that most young producers use laptops and right dragging is not something you can comfortably do an a MacBook for example, so I'd make sure that all the vertical zoom commands aren't constantly being wobbled around by horizontal scroll command on a trackpad that are also enabled at the same time. I've noticed this a lot while using Waveform on a MacBook, makes it uncomfortable and shaky to use. I'd add in a option that blocks scrolling when zooming on a trackpad.

It is, I love using them, but almost all producers I know work on a Macbook/Thinkpad, at home, at different studios, while traveling and don't have to space to use it with a mouse.
It's simply a usability case that could be improved upon, nothing emotional

Dragging with an alternate button can also be a bit of a pain when using a graphics tablet (with a pen). So can clicking with multiple buttons simultaneously (or "chording" with the mouse).
While those can all make for nice shortcuts, modern software should always provide alternative methods to do whatever it is that is relying on them, because of the diverse range of input devices in use (and for accessibility reasons).

reaper has for example a option that replaces clicking the right mouse button with holding a keyboard shortcut.
either way, scrolling and zooming simultaniously while dragging on a xy trackpad axis is just not a good idea in my opinion.
