Waveform midi clock

It's easy to send midi clock out to any of the midi devices enabled in Waveform. However, I do not see a rather important option (I think that most DAWs have this) which is to always send a start message whenever the edit is stopped then started. I am finding that I need to rewind to the beginning to do this, which is rather a pain.
Am I missing where this can be set up? it took me all of a few seconds to find and implement this in Cubase....

Well, this is frustrating. 2 messages to Tracktion support, and simply no response at all.

There is a way to add control codes (and, apparently, sysex codes) in the MIDI editor. It might be possible to add the one you want. To save you rewinding and losing your place, perhaps you could set it up on its own in an Edit and just play/send it from there.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

I know this thread is old but in your edit go to "timecode" in the lower left of the screen. There you can change settings for receiving or sending MMC (MIDI Machine Control) messages to/from devices.

Are you trying to send MIDI clock from Waveform to controller, or controller to Waveform?
I have an MPK261, and it relies on MIDI clock from Waveform for the arpeggiator, and it works just fine...?
(Mind you, that's with Waveform 11. I haven't tried from 12)

Ah, Waveform 12 has either lost a setting, or doesn't work. 11 sends out timecode and arpeggiator in MPK261 works; the same project on Waveform 12 appears not to. 12.1.8

I recommend something like the Midronome instead of relying on any computer/DAW for MIDI clock for external hardware.
