Wow, you're lucky. Echoboy runs circles around ColourCopy in my not-so-humble opinion and I can't imagine being without the 'Boy.
Well tbh for what color copy does and the sound it produce i tend it to use it much more often, and not only that but it also has ducking feature wich is very important for me to get better results when mixing :) Also my delay "needs" arent big, i have few presets that i always use and i dont go crazy on that :)

With this release, newly purchased Soundtoys plug-ins can now be activated using Activation Codes. This is a feature we’re introducing to make it easier for new customers to get up and running quickly without requiring an iLok.com account.
All new Soundtoys web store purchases (with the exception of upgrades and Academic Bundle purchases) will now be delivered via Activation Code. We still support iLok activation, as there are benefits to managing your licenses with the iLok License Manager. All Soundtoys plug-in licenses purchased prior to this release are unaffected, and the licenses will remain in the associated iLok accounts. See our License Activation FAQ for all the details.

It doesnt explain anything about what i quoted from the website?

I was simply making the point that it still implicitly uses ilok/pace software as experienced by the recent purchaser in the link.

I wonder how these people's opinion has changed since ValhallaDelay was released. Replacement or not?

Post

CoCo sounds more hi-fi than ValhallaDelay in BBD mode and includes ducking features. Different enough to enjoy any own both IMO.

Post

nothing replaces Echoboy.

yet

or i should say - no ONE thing replaces Echoboy
