Hope to see the NES soon - is it FC with MMC5 ?

'chipsynth FC' is basically a NES (FamiCom) + all Japanese sound expansions including MMC5, not that this is the most interesting of the lot when you have FDS, VRC6 and N163 ha. MD is next though. Its in beta.

also regarding the portaFM update with midi-automatable arpeggiator parameters? please tell me that is still coming and will be included with the upcoming line-up from the get-go!

For the past few years I've been using mostly hardware. But I have designed my setup in a way that is compatible with both, just have to turn on the PC and start bidule.

Two zaquencers have been the basis for most of my music with or without bidule since '13 or '14. Currently I have all 8 tracks randomly playing some impro atari music mouse playing of mine. Also some random cc modulation sent to the volca fm's arpeggiator's div and type parameters and my Waldorf rocket's arp parameters.

All eight tracks on four channels are optionally sent to my PC and bidule. There I sometimes feed them to chipsounds and portafm.

But I'd love to automate their arps from my zaquencers as well. .. at least the new / currently released llineup

It does import TFI and Deflemask DMP files, yes.

Its a different thing, it will all make sense when I'm ready to spill the beans on how it all works.
