It would been good to have MSampleTree plugin, especially for MDrummer, that analyse lots of drum samples, sort automatically by sound, and represent sounds in a tree form...

tree .. sry no good idea.. rather XY rectangle , x- frequency of 1st loudest harmonic, y- frequency of second loudest harmonic, points -clickable - plays that sample by click, some time selected
mean advanced sample selector

I'm a bit confused, there is a directory tree after all. Anyways sorting by sound is virtually impossible. It's actually impossible even by ear (try it, I did

), for a computer, which doesn't really "hear", even worse...

I don't know... I'll check it atlas thingy, but I very doubt that this electronic music specific thingy would work for acoustic drums etc. Just check differences between crash and splash cymbals

. In any case it's nearly no way there would be time for such a development. But one can always hope
