Meaning? Note you can do typical fast arps chords with the modulation tab too.

Not sure I understand how to do arp chords with the modulation tab. What I mean is this: when I play a chord, instead of the arp generating the individual notes of a chord, the arp will play the chord itself. Something similar to the Ableton arp, or the one in the PolySix or Mono/Poly (I don’t remember which off hand).davidv@plogue wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 1:02 pmMeaning? Again not quite sure what you mean. Currently if you play C E G, you will get C E G as individual notes, sometimes with extra octaves, in different orders, in a loop, in one shot. etc. It will not invent or reference other voicings.perpetual3 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 2:35 pm Not sure I understand how to do arp chords with the modulation tab. So, instead of playing individual notes, the arp will play the chord itself. It’s called “chord hit,” or “chord retrigger”.davidv@plogue wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 2:52 pmAgain not quite sure what you mean. From http://www.vintagesynth.com/korg/poly6.php
“The advanced arpeggiator can memorize and sequence chords across the keyboard.”
But what I’m talking about doesn’t have to be that advanced. Ableton’s simply plays back the chord.

Sweet. Thank you so much!davidv@plogue wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 12:06 pm Oh and fabi, he re's a part of the list of VST parameters in Bidule:

Now I just have to get my PayPal ready for MD and figure out how to manually link a midi device's cc's in bidule.

Doesn't have to be in Bidule. I just exported those as VST/AU/etc host params.

I'll try in Live later, but I think I get the idea now. It plucks the _same_ chord you initially hit over and over again rhythmically? If so... that's not really an arpeggiator anymore, but it would surely be fun. I'll think about itperpetual3 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 3:41 pm So, instead of playing individual notes, the arp will play the chord itself. It’s called “chord hit,” or “chord retrigger”.

Fantastic news! Thanks for confirming.
The other thing I was wondering about was whether the algorithim selector can be automated? That's leads to all manner of fun with the VolcaFM but being able to do that in a more controlled way in the DAW would be even cooler.

Virtually everything can be automated, this included of coursejeye_musik wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 7:47 pm The other thing I was wondering about was whether the algorithim selector can be automated? Very nice. I also have a volca fm and sometimes modulate the algorithm from my zaquencers' cc modulation lanes.davidv@plogue wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 10:11 pmVirtually everything can be automated, this included of coursejeye_musik wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 7:47 pm The other thing I was wondering about was whether the algorithim selector can be automated? I can't install the latest Chipsounds update, says it can't install on my hard drive.
I'm on OS10.9.5, but the error didn't say anything about an OS limitation. Just said cannot install.

Yeah we've switched to 10.11 Minimum progressively (Apple makes it _really_ hard to stay backwards compatible - and its worse with 10.15 Catalina and its Notarization).
Sorry about the bad message, its part of the installer package we are using. Not sure there is an easy way to make it clearer.

Other question:
does Bidule offer oversampling (like DDMF Metaplugin)?
Haven‘t found that on your homepage...

Yeah not very good @ web much. You can do this manually by putting the Bidules (or plugins) in a group, _then_ right clicking DSP Adapter like somartinjuenke wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 2:07 pm Other question:
