Step-Sequencer Patterns

In the step sequencer - can you change the pattern (A,B,C...) via automation at a certain point in a song? Also can you randomize which pattern is selected (i.e. I have Pattern A play for three bars then have a random pattern between B,C or D play on the fourth bar)?

Yes you can change step sequencer patterns by sending specific notes or program changes.
Please see mutools.com/info/docs/mux/mutools-modules.html#step-sequencer
So if you find a way to randomize the pattern notes/program changes then yes you can do that randomizing too.
