Not all of ISW's products are NI libraries. Most only can be used with full Kontakt. So I understand that they don't allow resale of non-NI libraries.
I'm thinking of getting Serphant, but I've been spending so much lately and I don't use Rogue enough. They do make great products though.

On another note, I got an email from Harrison Mixbus for an crossgrade to the 32c version for $79. This seems like a great price, even if I just use it for Mastering. But some of the stuff I've been reading about it makes it seem not so stable or really very usable. I have the plain Mixbus, but really haven't tried using it much. Too many new libraries to play with... And I couldn't get it to load my Pro Tools project. So I will have to import stems or bounces to really try it.

Thanks! Bought the music production suite 2.1 upgrade from jrr for $125 and apparently it came with a free license for Melodyne Essentials too!alterscale wrote: Tue Aug 06, 2019 5:58 amyeah, here is a list of rx7 standard plugins (vst2 & vst3)DrMEM wrote: Tue Aug 06, 2019 12:26 am Does rx7 standard come with vst versions of its functions? Mixbus is essentially a Harrison console emulation wrapped in an Ardour based DAW. And the emulation used in the 32c version is a different or more accurate one, so if you are using Mixbus because of the console emulation you would want the 32c version.dzilizzi wrote: Wed Aug 07, 2019 3:41 pm On another note, I got an email from Harrison Mixbus for an crossgrade to the 32c version for $79. On their webpage, Harrison describes the differences as follows:
I think that is a fairly accurate description. The sound of Mixbus and Mixbus32C are largely identical. However:
In both products, the channelstrip EQ is "always in circuit" ... meaning the signal is always passing through the math, ( bypass simply means that the gain for the EQs is set to "0" ). In practice, if the EQs are both set flat or bypassed, the difference should be vanishingly small: similar to the magnitude of dither. But some people ascribe a huge difference to dither; so yes, the sound of the mixers will be fundamentally different to a discriminating user.

Thanks. Yes, the channel strip part is what really interests me. It is really the whole point of getting Mixbus I think. So I guess I will pick it up.mgw38 wrote: Wed Aug 07, 2019 5:47 pmMixbus is essentially a Harrison console emulation wrapped in an Ardour based DAW. Don't click on "Redeem." Instead, go to the link under: "*Music Production Suite 2.1 owners:

Wanted to respond to this again. I actually emailed Reverb about this. Their response was it's not going on sale for a couple months..mgw38 wrote: Sun Aug 04, 2019 3:01 pmActually just the opposite. Quite often they are so awesome that you have to be really really quick.![]()
So I'm even more confused by their sales? Emailed back, and if you know the answer that's cool too.
So, I saw this was on sale until the 2nd, and it was "sold out” ??
You’re not giving me any idea how your sales work, are there limited quantities? is it one of those cases where your definition of “ending on the 2nd” means the 1st after midnight? or greenwich time?
Or did I stumble upon a placard, and I didn’t notice it always said “coming soon”??

Yep, you get it after you register your mps upgrade with izotope (as mentioned above). I don’t know if there is a time limit on redeeming it.yehboy1 wrote: Wed Aug 07, 2019 8:05 pmIs Melodyne Essentials a separate serial?DrMEM wrote: Wed Aug 07, 2019 4:04 pmThanks! Coming soon? Make an offer? I'd get it at that price if it's a retail license.
Does anyone know if this even a kosher deal?
