Thanks. It sound like not with it. I guess it's like Arturia's Analog Lab tool.quietzone wrote: Fri Aug 09, 2019 2:13 pmCan't comment on Arturia or NI, but worth mentioning you get VIP Standard for free together with AIR Hybrid 3, sonivox Wobble and MPC Essentials when you buy the akai mpk mini mk2 (79€ at thomann). You can use the Hybrid 3 license to upgrade to AIR AIEP3 Complete for $72 on sale now at Plugin Boutique to get a bunch of nice plugins.telecode wrote: Fri Aug 09, 2019 1:58 pm sorry is this was already mentioned.
is this thing worth it or useful if you use other VSTs from Arturai or NI?

Still no reaction from Reverb here.
Anyway, quietzone, whatever happens, keep finding us deals like this. Some may work, others won’t, but we love living dangerously.

Nothing. Unless you have a philosophical problem with dongle based copy protection that is. If that's the case then everything is bad about iLok.telecode wrote: Fri Aug 09, 2019 2:02 pm Hello, can someone refresh my memory. Whats bad about iLok?
The Steinberg eLicenser is a different hardware. If you want to keep the Ilok licenses on a physical dongle you would need to carry two dongles. But almost all iLok protected licenses allow you to move them onto the computer hardware directly.telecode wrote: Fri Aug 09, 2019 2:02 pm I am on Cubase Pro and have the Steinberg dongle. So does this mean I have to carry around 2 dongles?
As far as I know there are three distinctively different dongle hardware systems in use in the audio field. eLicenser (Steinberg, VSL, Vengeance Sound), Wibu (Propellerheads, MAAT, and recently also the Antares Auto-Tune Access plugin - although that only allows you to store it in a local Wibu container) and iLok. I carry around a little device I made that essentially consists of a USB hub with all three dongles connected packed neatly into a small box together with an external SSD.

What's that Reverb? I've never got any deals through there, they have plenty of wrong information, which they have to cancel, etc.
Not very nice place to go shopping.
All in in all, too much trouble for me to look after - you may get some bargain, but the "salary" per hour for that work is too low, for me.
They can fuc* off on my behalf.

It's about personal opinion. Yes, you'd need 2 dongles, an iLok and a Steinberg dongle and that is why a lot of people dislike it. For me personally I don't mind the Steinberg one since I'm on a PC. But for those using a laptop you'll run out of USB ports pretty quick so you'll need a hub. Why I said that you need to be aware that you need an iLok is because I don't have one, so I could buy the software from Reverb but then id need to spend another €40 to use it. Right now I don't have any iLok software so that Reverb deal is not for me!telecode wrote: Fri Aug 09, 2019 2:02 pmHello, can someone refresh my memory. I saw someone using a bunch of Antares plugins yesterday and am curious in trying them in my setup.

It reminds me of car ads where they have one car at that price and once it's sold that price is gone. They should probably say we have xx at this price or something. Otherwise, people will start getting annoyed and they will get a bad reputation. Like used car dealers.mladi wrote: Fri Aug 09, 2019 4:57 pmThey have few copies 5-10 maybeHarry_HH wrote: Fri Aug 09, 2019 4:22 pm What's that Reverb? OTOH if you get the deal, then they look pretty good. Is it really that hard to Try? If so, maybe stop looking for deals and buy retail. I check this forum daily, mostly to little avail and wade thru endless PA praise posts and now ( from the same folks) PA hate posts. But the one time I got Waves Horizon bundle for $163 makes it all worthwhile ; to medzilizzi wrote: Fri Aug 09, 2019 11:04 pmIt reminds me of car ads where they have one car at that price and once it's sold that price is gone. I found the waves bundle sale officially over for now, but I'm so glad I could still buy stuff sale prices from jrr. 58$ for API Collection is such a bargain.

Does anyone know if you can use someone else's Acustica Loyalty coupon when ordering?
And if so, is there someone that owns pretty much everything and isn't going to be using their current 45%-55% off loyalty discount coupon that would be willing to give it away?
