A bit widdly-diddly for me. If it's the metel I like a bit more doom-laden riffage. Summat like Ver Frost for example;

+1 :tu:

Pick up his other amp SoftAmp PSA as well and his other stuff is also great.

Also check out the free ToneLib GFX for a full stack solution.

Where did you find them?

If you mean the SinMix IRs, a very quick google found them here - https://www.brickwall.pl/store/index.ph ... er=product

I thought confusing them was meant as a joke. People do that all the time with actors from that particular Harry Potter film. Personally, though, I enjoy Sir Patrick Stewart's performances the most in the series.

Anything except BIAS.

Another vote for emissary, with the right impulses it can sound like anything.

Emissary and Flextron are most excellent metal-focused ampsims and free!. The also free ProFET pedal sim direct in to some IRs is quite awesome too.

Non-free stuff - Kuassa Creme and Mercuriall SS-11X are pretty tasty.

There were several SinMix IRs in TSE X50v2 stock IR set, I liked them so I googled their website and decided to buy the whole bundle.

For me it's not just about the sound although of course that's most important but also about the "connection" when playing an Amp Sim.

I'm left handed but play right handed so my picking hand has always been the weak point (well that and the lack of any discernible talent). So I learned very early to rely on hammer ons and pull offs to make up for the lack of picking skill.

None of the in the box solutions I've tried allow a "connection" to my playing like the Johnson J-Station does. With ITB Sims hammer ons seem to just go "squish" instead of triggering a note as desired. But I'll keep looking and keep demoing as I'm always looking to improve my sound.....
