Is it possible to get errors without being informed?
Yes, see the "Alert Error Level" preference.
Thanks for the heads up.

This is the third time I've posted something on this forum and that post disappeared! Only happens here!

Post

Which post disappeared?

I just wondered why they were not being written to (inside) the Log txts folder?

Post

I don't know what you mean with the "Log txts folder". Is that a folder you created?

Post

Nothing of importance, only short posts, thankfully!
The first was just a "Thanks for the update :tu:" which I knew was posted , but when I went back checking that thread, it had gone. I thought I must've somehow not posted it, but it's happened 3 times now! Once can be a mistake but 3 times? No chance. I'm not senile yet!

Post

I did not delete anything. If you think there is something wrong with the kvr forum then contact the kvr team.

(iirc you posted a "thanks" in another topic, maybe the new M8.1.x topic?)

Post

That was the repost!
I'll keep an eye on it and will contact them if it keeps happening. Thanks.

Oh, is there not a Log txts folder normally? If not, I must have made one ages ago  . I get lots of log txt's, so would it be a "big thing" to make them be written into their own file to keep things tidy.

On a slightly different topic while we are talking folders, I noticed that I have two MuProject folders one at User/MuProject and the other one in User/ Library/ MuProject .
New projects seem to be in the Uesr/ MuProject folder and older projects in User/Library/MuProjects. In all honesty I don't look where the projects are being saved (except for audio recordings) I just give them a title and then save. Where did you plan for projects to be saved Jo?

Post

User/Library/MuProject

Thanks Jo moved all the newer project files.

Post

Could it be that you have chosen yourself to save some projects in User/MuProject ?

Not that I recall, only extra folder I recall making is one for vocal recordings used in a relaxation cd I'm making. I've deleted the extra folder now, but its creation date was quite recent I recall, and even I wouldn't name two folders the same, I get confused enough with all the internal and external hard drives I've got..

Post

I don't see a reason why User/MuProject would be created by MuLab but if it happens again and you're convinced it's created by MuLab, let me know.
