They go by their own prices. In your example you could choose items for $120 or less.Vortifex wrote: Tue Aug 13, 2019 3:59 pm A general question about the group buy: the offer is that you get extra products that are equal to or below the price of the one you pay for. If you pay less from another vendor than you would from IK Multimedia directly, do they go by the price you paid or by their own prices? EG you buy plugin X for $100 from JRR but IK sell it for $120, could you choose a plugin from IK that they sell for $110? This is assuming you have to get the free ones direct from IK.

I don't think it does. I think Reverb has a lot of phantom sales and I don't waste my time there. It's like the brick and mortar place offering these great deals on Black Friday and they somehow are out of stock.quietzone wrote: Tue Aug 13, 2019 3:39 pm
+ Who this is damaging though is shops like JRRshop from Uncle E.

Some of them might have just been coincidences. I've done that, listed something without knowing there was a big sale on.Digivolt wrote: Tue Aug 13, 2019 12:09 pm After seeing quite a few members listing sales for the same stuff as was in the reverb deals for double/triple the price, I'm done posting deals here, not going to waste my time so others can profit off the community so brazenly

I'd agree but 4 or 5 unregistered keys ? Seems awfully coincidental don't you think ?dangayle wrote: Tue Aug 13, 2019 5:20 pm Some of them might have just been coincidences. I've done that, listed something without knowing there was a big sale on.

It's not like serials take up any significant storage space / maintenance costs....Vleker wrote: Tue Aug 13, 2019 6:23 pm Reverb is clearing stock I guess, Reverb just halved items on some things that weren't selling so they really want to get rid of it

They DO take up cash/debt on the books, which is something a company may want to clear out when being sold.

If I'm not mistaken, Uncle E said the sale will last until August 29th.frackermak wrote: Tue Aug 13, 2019 5:51 pm How long will the upgrade price to the production suite last please?

It has been a while since the controversial Cloud service went live, which got a lot of customers disappointed after not being able to download installers from their account at our Members Area anymore. I have been reading some cases during the last few weeks that made me reconsider how this was set, so here's a small and flexible change may be of interest for all discoDSP customers and future ones:
Now, any registered customer is entitled to 3 free download slots for the products at his account. There are some minor cases where there is a download limit already but let me know at contactus@discodsp.com and we will sort it out.
Once those 3 free slots are used, then the only way to get access to more is getting Cloud service, which as everybody knows, brings all product updates linked to your account free for 1 year, as well as access to latest installers (no download limits, under reasonable conditions!). Hope this decision at least can make things better for some and you can accept my apologies for the inconveniences.
Cheers.
I can't quote since he's been blocking me for some reason
Guess the episode had some kind of impact.. Businesswise I'm happy since I can download the installers and backup them. But may take awhile to forgive him his behavior and threats and..
