The install procedure offers a few places where things can go wrong. Compared to all other synths I have. And I have bought quite a lot of sounds sets. My wallet has a story to tell.
With Simon's current ongoing sound set development for "Sound Factory" and VSP's previous sound set, the same appears not because of a lack of knowledge about how to do it, but rather an over-complicated install procedure I'd say.
This thing about adding/replacing is OK when you are familiar with it, which is the stage I'm getting at, but it has so many opportunities for things to go wrong.

I don't think the importing and exporting feature is done yet. I'm pretty sure Vojtech said there will be a way to package the sounds and files together to distribute them easily in the future, but I imagine he wants to get the sampler done first. Without samples it doesn't make much sense, but once samples come into the equation it will make things much easier.

Correct. There is no export / import at all yet. You can do that with presets as usual, but that's not really the way to do that as that can only install presets, but not instruments. For that there will be a dedicated way, which needs to make one big archive with samples etc., plus licencing ...
