I totally understand that
2-3 out of 5 VST plugins are from Germany and same with DAWs
Abelton Bitwig Cubase Studio One (Logic Pro more or less Enigma was from Germany as well before Apple bought them) are all developed in Germany (most of them in Berlin or Hamburg)
Native Instruments, U-he,Tone2, AIR Music Tech, Cableguys, Magix and many more are from Germany as well
And even the VST SDK was programmed bei Steinberg in Germany
And full bucket music developer Björn Arlt lived 3 streets from my home before I moved to another City (500 m by feet ) ^^
So If you don't know where a plug-in is from , try Germany most of the time a good try

I was convinced to get the complete bundle from deadmau5' live stream where he cleans up a drum loop using MStereoProcessor or whatever it's called. Not regretting it so far.
