I own all Melda products, but know less than 1% of what is to be known about them.

In the meantime, since I am playing around with guitar sounds, I wonder if it can be done and, if so, if somebody can give me tips to get this "boing" sound of surf guitar reverb.

It is most noticeable in this video, especially when playing with the Fender Reverb unit.

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated!!

I am not sure how to get that kind of sound with melda effects, but the sound is the spring in the reverb unit, do any of the reverbs have a spring algorithm? It maybe a good addition 😀

On a similar note, in the 60's there used to be a kind of "underwater chirping bird" sound that Vinnie Bell used to achieve, and it's heard on numerous pop records from the 60's. I have no idea how he created that sound, though I suspect it also had to do with spring reverb. Any ideas? Could it be replicated with the Melda plugins?

Listen here: The effect is right at the intro:
