I'm not finding anything like this up there so I could end up finding a niche or totally bombing out with this approach. Risky, but felt it was worth taking a chance. Will be doing 12 of these.

This is great, probably the best i've heard from you so far. Not that i listened to alof of your tunes, but i might if this continues. It's catchy and interesting.
The mix feels a bit soggy tho, in particular the drums. Can't put my finger on it.
Also, the short piano intro never caught my interest and felt inferior to the rest of the track which (was fantastic.)

Thanks for the listen and the feedback. We'll see how it goes.

I don't order anyone ...
Thought this might be interesting for you.
Obviously not. I am not surprised.

Peace out

if you want to score films you can reach out to all the film schools in the US and/or world and let the administrators know you will work with students, score for free or a minimal amount. I did that years ago and score a couple of short films for students. Had tracks used in other student films as well.

Excuse me, do I have to post the nasty PM you sent me?

Just give me the ground rules so I know what's going on. That's all.

Why exactly would I want to do all that work (and that IS a lot of work) for nothing? I'm not 21 anymore.

No, the actual scoring all those films for free. Why would I want to do that? There is no incentive.

Really? This is almost laughable after the way you tore me apart privately. Let's see.

There's this.
Your are neither good enough, nor are you any talented.
Let me say that as someone, who spent his whole life doing,
producing and teaching music.
No, that's not bad ... just honest.
Again, take it or leave it !
And then there's THIS gem.
With your own "Wagtunes-Rating-System":

Music: 1
Mixes: 0,5
Performance: 0,5
Vocals: -10 (You cannot sing. Leave it !)
Talent: 0
Self-Conceit: 10
Humbleness: -10
Self-Assessment: -10
And then this oldie but goodie.
If I listen to your tracks I have to admit that some of my students are way better after one year at my academy !
Your rhythm feel is not there, some drum fills seems to be played by some drunken beginner and there is no sense of melody. Your tracks are not special, just stereotypical.
And them this in the home stretch.
Just face it and be not a hypocrite about your abilitys and talents.
Never ever think about to be a professional !!!
You are an amateur
And you wish me the BEST?

You are the biggest f**king hypocrite on this forum.

And then you finish by telling me if I send you a message you will delete it.

I have since left you alone, as ORDERED.

So how about giving me the same courtesy and leave ME alone?

What a hypocrite.

been through the ambient tracks so far.
some good stuff in there, by which i mean outside of production work, they make a nice listen as an ambient piece. does that make sense?

as production work, i can see much of it working in several of the areas within video work (docus/dramas/sci fi...) so a bigger pool of directors :tu:

The problem with scoring videos, film, etc., is that it's a lot of work. You need to be aware of every cue. Film scoring is something that takes YEARS to learn and I have absolutely no training at all. Production music is different. You write a piece and hope it fits what the person is looking for. So you throw a lot of stuff at the wall and hope something sticks.

If I wanted to get into film scoring I would have had to go to school for it years ago. But that ship has sailed.

I'm not so delusional that I think I can actually write a film score.

yeah i get that.
that's what i meant by it works, it covers a lot of ground by being a little open to interpretation.

film scoring is a pain. i did some q few years back for a couple of students. all that working to frames :o
micro timing almost. sfx was worse though, trying to find sounds for a sword fight then get the timing right. wish id been getting paid

Which is why I wouldn't do it with a gun pointed to my head. I have a ton of respect for people who do film scoring.
