We can't send emails to Hotmail/Outlook AGAIN

Hi all,
Again, Microsoft servers have blocked emails from our internet service provider.
Therefore we can't send support or license emails to any Hotmail/Outlook account. If possible, please use a different email provider when ordering stuff or writing to our support team.

Its a common problem that MS is doing their blockings in very bad-practice ways. It affects schools and edu sector big time (those not using MS solutions). MS wants ppl to use their own services....and they dont care even if there are hundreds of thousands of students not getting their important mail... as an example.

I would imagine there's a massive spam attack from compromised computers, mostly from certain ISP's, and that's why they block thos addresses generally at the moment. Something like that. Not good, but... i think Microsoft, or the ISP's are not the ones to blame.

I don’t know what the hell is going on with MS and email - their spam detection has become terrible recently. I get genuine emails (from addresses I have received emails from for years) go to my spam folder, and I now get emails in my inbox that are really obviously spam.

As much as I love u-he, but I certainly won't switch my email for that. Why force an army of users to new email addresses, when the source of the problem is with one company / ISP? I get shit tons of newsletters from all sorts of companies to my MS email addresses, so I'm having a hard to time to believe MS is the one to blame here.

Most people have more than one email address. Our service provider has a 44.1% market share (figures from 2015). How can MS erratically block emails from almost half of Germany and get away with it?
Please note that we can't just switch to another provider. We are renting several servers there for our business. We are obliged to use a European service for this (and if we weren't, it would certainly be within our freedom of choice to do so). If you can name a single European service provider for webspace, email and cloud that won't be blocked by Microsoft's nutty algorithms, we're all ears

Bet i could write a algorithm which blocks all emails from a certain mail provider myself. 
As i mentioned, they surely get bombed by 1und1 and T-Online spam mails at the moment, and simply decided to block everything. Not good, but, i really can't imagine that this won't be resolved soon.

If MS uses Spamhaus for RBL (or some other such service), all that's required to get your SMTP server on the list is a mere DNS query to a known exploit IP. 1und1 can do a self-removal from the RBL, but can end up back on the list over and over again until the source of the queries (an likely outbound connections via port 80) is identified and stopped.
