I'm trying to make a sssllloooowwwwLFo to pan a synth back and forth across the stereo field. No matter what I enter it never goes slower than 0.1Hz!!

Is this by design? I can do it manually but then why implement an LFO function in Waveform?

All help appreciated, just want to know if this is a hopeless battle on my part.

In Waveform 9 the lowest LFO frequency is 0.01 Hz. Don't know about v8. However, 0.1 Hz is one oscillation every 10 seconds which is very slow.

You want the oscilation to take longer than 100 seconds?
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

Set the start marker with the I shortcut key, where you want this to start.
Set the end marker with the O shortcut key, where you want it to end
Add a pan automation curve, click on the automation line to give it focus
Look in the properties panel, and choose "Create pattern between the marked region", choose Sin, Square or Triangle for the shape, then choose how many repetitions you want to occur during that time.

That should do it.
