It’s the usual sale price for Soundspot plugins with crazy overpriced retail prices to make it look like a crazy discount.

The main problem with the Soundspot (and a few other developers) is that they completely outsource development. If there is ever an issue with these plugins, chances are that you are out of luck. They don't really understand their own code. At least that has been my experience with them.

What are everyone's opinions on this synth? Is it worth picking up for less than $20? I have yet to demo it - and I will - but I'm curious what you fine KVRians think.

Afaik the Icarus2 upgrade is included for all who bought since May 2019. So it's quite a good deal since update from Icarus1 to 2 will be 59€-79€ according to Tone2.

Glad I saw this. I was intending on buying Icarus when v2 comes out but nice to save a few bucks and get the free upgrade when it’s out!

I tried demo once (at similar sale) frankly not impressed (incl. by his FM), even for this price.

I bought it for $10 from Thomann several months ago. I sold it.

Some people praise it. I have it and never use it. Sounds aching to me. Just pick up the demo and decide for yourself.

I remember, mainly i'm was interested in his FM abilities in combination with his advanced modulation (at least as it can be seems by UI picture). So, in result i found that the most interesting parameters can't be modulated, so whole quest became pretty static and boring.

Folks can somebody help me out here, why are Jrrshop and Plugindiscounts selling only version 1.0 of Acon Verberate? I'm in love with the sound, but there seems to be no way of getting v2 outside the official store. And the aforementioned are asking quite a steep price for v1 as well, which has to be a mistake of some sort.

Acon has send out licenses to v2 to everyone who has bought v1 after the start of the grace periode (feb 2019???). So maybe they still do it even with newly bought v1s?
...better check with them (and/or the shops) before you buy but that would explain it ?!?
