how do you make your sounds? Sound first starts in the mind and then you make it or twist the knobs synthesizer and then is born sound like?

Both!

If I have a sound in my mind I'd like to produce, I start with an initialized patch and try to get as close as possible from scratch. Once I've got it, or close enough, I'll save the patch and then experiment more and see if I can create something even cooler than I imagined. It helps to have some experience with creating patches instead of stumbling around because if you take too long, the sound you've made in your mind might disappear!

Another tried and true method is to flip through patches until you find one you like, and then tweak it to perfect it for your track.

Sometimes you have no real goal in mind and you can sit there and just experiment. It's best to do this between projects and save the patch for later. You might sidetrack yourself too much if you try to do this mid-project.

It also helps to look up video tutorials on YouTube. There's a lot of helpful people out there offering advice on how to program synths. Chances are there are videos for the synth you are using.

Good luck!

I usually start from scratch with plans in my mind but i always end up saving
it at various stages...and then at the end i end up with like 5 patches.

Both... And sometimes I start with an idea and on the way to it discover a timbre that changes my destination! :tu:

Thank you, I mean - how do you achieve modern sound on Zebra 2 (for example, the Sylenth synthesizer does not require additional manipulations, just select the waveform and make the detun). Zebra 2 doesn’t have such an aggressive sound ...

atmelcool: Zebra is all about "additional manipulations".
For quick supersaws etcetera, Hive's the one.

the question was about a zebra

I know. What I meant is this: You shouldn't expect Zebra to give you instant gratification. Zebra is for meticulous / weird sound design (and that can take hours or even days). U-he's "instant gratification" synth is Hive.

It is known that in a piano or guitar, the sound is emitted by the strings, and the timbre (sound color) is set by the body. Hence the question, how can you simulate the body of any instrument on the Zebra2 synthesizer?

Can you tell a Green field from a cold steel rail, a smile from a veil, do you think you can tell?

But OK - timbres are shaped with the modules settings. Reengineer an existing patch u like!
