What are everyone's opinions on this synth? Is it worth picking up for less than $20? I have yet to demo it - and I will - but I'm curious what you fine KVRians think.
I think it's underrated. It's great for morphing sounds. There's a state vector pad in the center, that can be modulated by its own controls or automated. The oscillators are where the action is, down to modulating individual waveform points. FM is in an NxM matrix which makes it easy to use. Modulation (LFO and Envs) take some getting used to but like I said, the vector pad and oscillators can evolve on their own. FX aren't that great but we all have fantastic FX we can insert afterward anyway. CPU use can be high if everything is moving. Demo it and see if you like it.

If there is ever an issue with these plugins, chances are that you are out of luck. They don't really understand their own code. At least that has been my experience with them.

I tried demo once (at similar sale) frankly not impressed (incl. by his FM), even for this price.
I bought it for $10 from Thomann several months ago. I sold it.
Not a fan then?

I can't imagine that PA's sales have increased or even stayed the same lately...

Glad to see a positive comment about WIGGLE, from the Youtube demos I thought it sounded pretty damn good myself. And yeah, I don't care about the FX as I have a solid arsenal at my disposal. I'll download the demo this afternoon and try it out. Thanks, yellowmix. :tu:

Agreed, I've all but written off PA after their "big announcement."

So, in result i found that the most interesting parameters can't be modulated, so whole quest became pretty static and boring.

Yeah I guess I'll demo it tonight. Thanks for the reply, ralfrobert. 8)

Me too...
Damn, based on the replies I've gotten, I'm getting less and less interested... Still, I'll try the demo out today and see if it clicks with me but I'm not too optimistic at this point. Thanks, Martin.

Here my post from past year, with some details: viewtopic.php?p=7149369#p7149369
EDIT: as i see my post, the pitch related knobs it's most desirable to able to modulate in FM case, especially those who produce most large impact, ie octave. So, why it avoided modulation - difficult to say.

I grabbed those and was impressed enough to buy three of their instruments in their sale. Then after my credit card went through I got a message "Amount paid is not sufficient for products ordered" and nothing more even though I have a receipt email from Paypal with the full breakdown of what I paid and what for.
I've sent their support an email so hopefully this will get sorted out quickly. Is anyone from Cinematique Instruments on here?

Edit: OK, they got back to me and it was a pricing issue on their website with prices not matching their database. All sorted now apparently and they've now sent me the links.
