I took the survey, thanks for the 15% off coupon.
I answered that I'd like to see a mastering suite from u-he, but after actually taking a moment to think about it I would like to see a filterscape style vocoder.

U-he vocoder would be high on my wishlist now that you mention it.pgwalsh wrote: Sun Sep 01, 2019 11:56 pm I answered that I'd like to see a mastering suite from u-he, but after actually taking a moment to think about it I would like to see a filterscape style vocoder.

Oh boy, a live one here. Show us on the dolly where the survey question hurt you.
Also, you might want to check your history. I suspect "Christian preacher" Jim Jones was on your team.

We still prefer to sell our stuff to nice people and be identified with them. We also love what we do, and that's not just because of the money it makes. To the contrary, we could make much more money in industries we don't love. Hence, in our case love beats money. So please don't confuse us with money driven outlets.chk071 wrote: Mon Sep 02, 2019 8:31 am Didn't know that survey was about hearts and love, and not about money.

Well... you do a survey to know what your users want (i.e. to know what sells). And marketing isn't at all limited to the common practices which were used centuries ago. Of course things like ecology, health, social stuff, or political correctness are things which sell these days. Maybe that wasn't the main intention behind it in this case, but, it surely is a intention in most other cases nowadays.
Although i don't know why you think stuff like that is particularly "nice", but, that's just my personal view on it.
At the end of the day, you're as "money driven" as anyone else anyway, because, you hardly do all this out of ideologic reasons, when you have to bring food on the table. For your, and your employees families. Sure you could work in another industry, which is more lucrative, but, company and job are what they are.

Very much so, including the characterisation of who we are and what we do.
I'm btw not fond of the use of the term "political correctness" without quotation marks. The people who use it are not prohibited from saying what they want, they simply use it to frame their wish to avoid accountability. I.e. it's a mechanism of victim reversal ("I'm the victim because I can't call other people names anymore").
Anyhow, all good, the survey is a great success, there is really no need to discuss things any further.
