Agreed. I made a similar comment in one of the locked MassiveX threads. People can get uptight about speculation, but, if you've ever worked on a software engineering project under bad management, then you are familiar with those smells. A post on Glassdoor is perhaps insightful here:glokraw wrote: Tue Sep 03, 2019 5:49 am The trainwreck release of Massive X
points to inexperience where it ought not be,
especially for a new flagship product. Incongruent.
Native Access not allowing users the choice to hold off
on an update, is bad luck. A poor rollbak-scenario
exascerbates the situation. U-he don't need 'Urs Access',
you'd think the rest of Berlin's coders would take the hint.
Good luck to NI, keep the cup half full![]()
Now my final trip starts...
I agree. Sometimes Agile seems to be interpreted as: "We have no idea what we want and don't want to take the time to think about it. Let's instead fiddle around until we hopefully get something useful."ghettosynth wrote: Tue Sep 03, 2019 8:20 pmAgreed. I made a similar comment in one of the locked MassiveX threads. "Feels like the don’t know what they are doing. They waste more time trying to implement agile processes than actually building products. They haven’t figured out how to communicate. Their entire vision is a work in process because they don’t have a real plan."
This is practically every corporation though. I feel like I can ask a random, anonymous employee at any non-boutique company and they'll tell me that.ghettosynth wrote: Tue Sep 03, 2019 8:20 pm
