Hi guys,
I’m very interested in purchasing Hive, however, I have a few very important requirements. I wonder if anyone can answer these questions about hive on Mac, I have looked around for the info on the net but it’s sketchy at best..
What is the operation for importing a .wav
E.g
A) Is it simple drag n drop
B) does it open a preview that you navigate to the .wav
C) unload hive software put .wav in a special folder
D) C + write script in a .uhm file
Can you export said .wav wavetable as a .uhm file.
Thanks in Advance

A) no
B) no
C) if i understand you correctly yes; Hive will load any WAV files within the Wavetable folder in the Hive.data directory
D) yes if you want to; you can choose to load either the entire WAV file or only specific frames and AFAIK you can combine multiple WAV or frames together in the UHM script and even combine these with additional scripted data. For example frames 0-127 could be created from the scripting language and frames 128-255 spliced from an existing WAV.
I'm sure one of them u-he team will confirm/correct/expand as required
