NI are a fantastic company that have a long reputation of bad decisions IMO pretty obviously coming from the marketing / corporate side.
They just laid off 20% of their employees, there are still things they need to do, that do not generate much income, (VST3, GUI etc.) and that's troubling. I can't see any positive outcome here, I don't know how downsizing is going to help them focus on improving products they already have?
I don't think this bodes well for their current hardware line. Time to sell Machine Studio before it ends up on the junk heap like Kore and Rig Kontrol did.

Yeah, I don't have any hope of that. Absynth is still one of my favorite concepts for a synth, and it's looooong in the tooth. NI tend to abandon things. Komplete since V2, and it's been a rough ride. Love their stuff, but they chase the almighty dollar with new products more than they upgrade and improve their current ones. There's no denying this.HcDoom wrote: Wed Sep 04, 2019 6:25 pm They need to give us Absynth 6 with complete overhaul, wouldnt mind if they improve Kontakt somehow either.
