Hey guys i consider getting reason 11 not mainly as a daw but as a vst for its rack !

1. What kind of cp does it use?
2. I guess i want the suite edition cause there are all effects and instruments. Shall i just get it at jrr etc? Or is there a better way like getting the smaller edition then upgrade or something like that?

There's a long history behind all of it. He's a nice enough guy imo (I'd have a beer with him if I drank beer) but if you happen to notice, 90+% of his posts on the Internet are ultimately about him, something he did or thinks he did great, or leading to something he did with graphics, usually the same images over and over. A certain level of self promotion or confidence is fine (if not necessary for good artists of any kind) but it reaches a certain point where it starts to annoy people. I'm certainly not a therapist but he does regularly exhibit clear signs of narcissism.

Some of us have tried to politely make that point with him in the past (on various different forums) but it apparently didn't take.

None of the above is personal, lord knows we all have flaws and could use a few moments of quiet introspection, simply explaining why he so often gets that reaction.

I was under the impression its $149 to upgrade to 11 from 1-10 and then a further $249 to upgrade to 11 Suite. Is this incorrect?

If you have Reason 1-10 already:
- $/EUR129 will get you Reason 11, OR
- $/EUR249 will get you Reason 11 Suite.

If you have Reason 1-9, buying Reason 10 now (after 1st August):
- you'll get Reason 11 for free on 25th
- $/EUR249 will upgrade Reason 11 to Suite

You’ll have to wait until it drops later this month. It’s in beta testing right now and the beta always runs noticeably slower than the release channel.

No one stole his lunch money, pulled his pants down in gym class, or gave him a wedgie. There were no personal attacks. A few people laughed at a (rightfully drawn) comparison. Even if it was completely off the mark, and it drew a few laughs, that's hardly being a "bully boi".

But hey, that's just my opinion. Today's society seems rife with folks who are easily offended these days and super sensitive. Whom I to judge?

I don't agree. The rabbit made a very slight reply which MANY others jumped over as a slight. I don't think I need to go through it,

He's not the enemy that I can see, but YOU seem to make him as such. Not trying to be the forum cop (clearly I'm not) just pointing out the obvious.
