Holy crap - for $129 USD you'll be getting an insane bang for your buck value. A metric shit ton of new devices will come in 11 from 2.5! Pro tip: check out the Combinator in Reason Plugin. It's a ton of fun!

SmajjL wrote: Sat Sep 14, 2019 5:17 pm I'm thinking of demoing it Right Now to see if I can well, See.. (comfortably) :) since it did not get an UI update and the VST version is exactly the same i'm guessing and the demo & non demo will update into 11 on the 25th automagically anyway right? :)
I'm a baseball bat away from a 1440p :)

I'm on twin 1080p, and my eyes sit (literally) 2 feet away from my displays. My eye sight is shit. That said, Reason will scale in Studio One using Studio One's system DPI scaling, so the rack devices look fine for me. Obviously YMMV, but depending on the DAW you use, it will probably look OK.

Mostly I traded stability and ease of use for Komplete, and didn't look back.

Now though, at the absolute very least the REX player in Reason is not surprisingly the best way to play REX files, and Transfuser is dead IMO until the GUI gets fixed. Plus Reason is fun, it's eminently WYSIWYG, and after a while in Reaper etc. it's nice to use a GUI that doesn't hide things.

Plus, it's $108 for a shit ton of gear. :)

Yeah, both Native Instruments and Reason have some work to do in this area, some stuff is soooOoo 1080p if I may state the obvious like a champ.. ;)
The scaleing thing was what I was gonna try, but I have demoed this, Before I got this 1440p and they don't allow two trials.
And since my last whine-post i've been busy snooping around at NI's site and found there is loads of freebies also, that I like! even, and since I have a Mikro mk2, they OK'ed me to get their Komplete for 399dollar'es..

Need I say more? ;) (that would be vwvwery off-topic..)
Life is like a box of? ;)

No better. Upgrade 1-10 and 11 to Suite 11 $249
I was under the impression its $149 to upgrade to 11 from 1-10 and then a further $249 to upgrade to 11 Suite. Is this incorrect?
Upgrade 1-10 to 11 129$
Upgrade 1-10 to 11 Suite $249
Upgrade 11 to 11 Suite $249
So, if I upgrade from 10 to 11 is $129 and if I decide to go to Suite 6 months down the line is $249 for a total of $378.

But if I go from 10 to 11 Suite at once, then is just $249....
A little twisted deal I think.

11 to 11 Suite should be a discounted deal, right? :?

The solution is to just go to Suite from 10 to 11. ;)

I bought update to 10 for $ 80 a few days ago and I don't care about the suite. I do not want to increase the number of REs, which I will not often use.

Reason is a nightmare to work in but the plugins are cool so I will try this

Think the VST thing on your fav DAW is a good move with all due respect for the Reason'eers that master it already. ;)

It’s one of those things you keep up with, like FLS 20+ which I rarely use  but keep up to date (I know it’s free...)

But for extra $120 (129 vs 249) I get almost $1000? of additional usable stuff (more actually, but I own some of it already). So yes, I better make up my mind and go to Suite in one jump. :D

Just the fact that I can have all my Reason projects within one system (Bitwig) and no longer need to open Reason’s sequence is in itself a workflow blessing.
I used to rewire in Ableton (when I needed) but I can’t do that in BWS so yes, this is a great move for my work.

Oh, let it cost $ 10 instead of $ 1,000,000, but I really don't need it.

It is a bit of an haleluljah moment I can imagine :D
And I just tried the scaleing thing with another plug-in, set Windows to a pixel-perfect (less blur) 200% (I know, I know...) ;) and Bitwig 3 handles this excellent actually. 8)

“need” is a futile word in Plugins’s land :hihi:
